Problems Enterprise Vault in Outlook 2007 after upgrading to Office 2013

  • I recently upgraded to Office 2013, but am still using Outlook 2007 as the company's servers don't support Outlook 2013. Since the upgrade every time I start Outlook 2007 I get the message that the "Add-in "Enterprise Vault" cannot be loaded and has been disabled by Outlook". As a result Enterprise Vault no longer works in Outlook 2007. Does anyone know how to fix this? Is this add-in not compatible with Office 2013 if you're still using Outlook 2007 instead of 2013?

    you can use Add in Enterprise Vault with Outlook 2013 - version EV 10.0.3

    You can also try to remove only Outlook 2013 and leave all other office 2013 applications.

  • I'd suggest you update your enterprise Vault to the latest service pack and then try again to see if this is working.

    If the issue continues, I'd suggest you contact the third party product provider since it is independent of Microsoft. Your understanding would be appreciated.

    For any troubleshooting, its important to know about the EV client add-in version, EV server version and outlook logs as where it is failing.
