  • Can you please confirm that the following commands are good to move a FSW after creating a new folder:

    i) To move it use the following commands:

cluster CLUSTERNAME resource "Majority Node Set" /priv MNSFileShare=\\newserver\FSW_ClusterName

ii) Run the following command to restart the resource and implement the change:

cluster CLUSTERNAME  group "Cluster Group" /move

iii) To verify the new settings, run once again:
cluster CLUSTERNAME  group "Cluster Group" /move

iv) To check the value of the file share property, run the following command:
cluster ClusterName resource "Majority Node Set" /priv

Of course in the above replace ClusterServiceAccount, CusterName, NewServer and FSW_ClusterName by their respective values in the environment

  • You'll want to setup the new folder with all of the right permissions.

Then change the quorum type of the windows cluster to be node majority.

Then change the quorum type to FSW plus node majority, and point the FSW resource to the new folder.
