  • Hello Ahmed,

By "SSP" do you mean the Self-Service Portal?

If that's what you mean, then this feature has been deprecated many years ago, hence the reason to why there is no documentation for it.

"As of System Center 2012 Service Pack 1 (SP1), the Virtual Machine Manager (VMM) Self-Service Portal has been removed."

    Reference:
    https://docs.microsoft.com/en-us/previous-versions/system-center/system-center-2012-R2/gg697606(v=sc.12)

The above link is also the only official documentation left about the Self-Service Portal.

    Best regards,
    Leon

  • Thanks for the answer. I know that the SSP has no longer exist but recently I found the following link: https://techcommunity.microsoft.com/t5/System-Center-Blog/The-System-Center-Virtual-Machine-Manager-Self-Service-Portal-2/ba-p/342250 Also if I need to have portal to use for private cloud what will be the other option , Azure pack ???

  • Microsoft has moved most of their content from their old blogs to their new one (techcommunity.microsoft.com), the post you are referring to is actually posted on Nov 09, 2010, so in other words it's very old :)

You can create and use private clouds within VMM with or without Azure Pack.
