Public Folders/Contacts COPY to Exch 2010

    General discussion

  • Have a currently MIXED 2003-2010 Exchange server.

SMTP NOT enabled, we are only using it for sharing Contacts and Calendars at present.

Mail is retrieved via a POP3, and stored in OST on users machine.

I have moved a few users over, to 2010,  and that has gone well.

My issue is that the Public Contacts on 2003 have to be copied into a Public Folder/FFBC Contacts folder on 2010.

I have exported the contacts to a PST, but am not sure how I can place them for access as a Public Folder Contacts file.

    Is there an Import command?

I cannot delete from the old server by a move, as that prevents the rest of the users from getting access to them.

    Thoughts ideas?

  • Just drag and drop in Outlook.  When creating the public folder, make sure it has the Contacts type.
