SQL Server connectivity Issue from SCCM server RRS feed

  • Question

  • We are trying to connecting system center configuration manager server to remote SQL server but not connecting.
The SQL server already occupied once instance with default port 1433. we created 2nd instance but not able to connect because SCCM only connecting to SQL default port. is there any option from SCCM  to connect SQL server alternate / custom port?

  • Have you enabled the SQL Browser service on the system hosting the SQL instance and enabled the necessary traffic through the firewall?
