Warning Event id 1025 sourcename: MsExchangeIS Mailbox Store

    Question

  • I receive a daily warning as follows:

    LogName=Application
    SourceName=MSExchangeIS Mailbox Store
    EventCode=1025
    EventType=2
    Type=Warning
    ComputerName=server
    Category=6
    CategoryString=General
    RecordNumber=100808
    Message=An error occurred on database "First Storage Group\Mailbox Store (server)".
    
    Function name or description of problem: SLINK::EcTestMessage
    Error: 0x8004011b
    
    
    Please advise.  Is the exchange database corrupt?

  • Hi,

    You need to run isinteg on the Mailbox store.

    - Dismount the First Storage Group\Mailbox.

    At command prompt go to C:\Program Files\Exchsvr\bin from there run the below command:

    isinteg -s servername -fix -test alltests

    Run this twice.

    After that the event id 1025 should be fixed. If it occurs again then exchange database needs to be repair.

    Note: Take the full backup of the exchange database. Before performing the above task.

  • Thank you!  I actually saw that article but I did not think that it was related because of it displaying the message below:

     'Function name or description of problem: SLINK::EcTestMessage
    Error: 0x8004011b'

    Am I incorrect in thinking that?
