Exchange Server 2010: IP block listed receiveing bounce messages

  • Hi friends

    i have recently getting some bounce message from my customer when the send email to my users they receive this bounce messages.and i only get bounce message from two of my customers with different domains when they send emails to my users.

    This message was created automatically by mail delivery software.

    A message that you sent could not be delivered to one or more of its

    recipients. This is a permanent error. The following address(es) failed:

      jons@test.com

        SMTP error from remote mail server after RCPT

    TO:<jons@test.com>:

    i have Barracuda Spam filter devices connected with my exchange 2010 server, can anyone tell me what is could be the error??

  • Hi,

    The sending server / domain is on a blacklist - follow the link in the NDR. You will have to find out why the server is on the blacklist, fix the problem and then you can get off the list.

  • Yes, from the error message, the sender's domain is in the block list, you need contact their administrator to find the reason and remove from the block list.
