    I am looking to build a private cloud around SCVVMM 2012 r2 OR SCVMM 2016 but in the testing that I've done with VMM2012 and the App Controller (Self service portal) It doesn't handle CSV clusters well... does anyone have any recommendations on how I can offer self service provisioning to my end users? My backend is likely going to be 4 x Dell r820's with 512gb ram clustered with CSV. I want users to be able to deploy templates and then have remote access to their labs however ive heard that Microsoft is doing away with the App Controller self provisioning system... is there any replacement?

    Could you please detail this sentence ?

    If you mean creating guest cluster , please refer to following article:

    " Virtual machines in a guest cluster can be deployed only to host clusters running Windows Server 2012 R2."

    (After creating the service template , it should be able to be deployed in APP controler )
