  • Database Availability Groups is not really a mechanism for sharing the load but rather a High Availability feature. If you need to spread the load you'll need more servers or power/storage in the server you currently use.

What is the limiting factor now? Where do you run intov performance issues? CPU overloaded or storage subsystem fully utilized.

Also, installing the Hub Transport role onto your external DNS server sounds extremly ill adviced. The only Exchange 2010 role that should ever be present in a DMZ is the Edge Transport role.

Please state your bottleneck so we can advice you on further actions to consider.

    Thanks!

  • Hi,

What do you mean "LOAD"? I/O?Disk storage?

We can setup DAG with two Mailbox servers. It should be in AD site.

    1. Create DAG

    Managing Database Availability Groups

Demystifying Exchange 2010 database availability group (DAG)

    2. After that add the second mailbox server as member server to DAG.

We can setup NLB for CAS server to load balance.
