Is it difficult to move the Primary Site Local SCCM DB to a remote Server? DB Team wants to move from local Server to Remote cluster

It's not difficult necessarily, but it adds complexity to the environment as well as possible network latency and also subjects the DB to DBA "tampering". DBAs can be great, but they can also be terrible as they in general, love tinkering and optimizing the DBs which more often than not will cause issues with ConfigMgr.
Also, keep in mind that the primary site server's computer account must have local admin permissions on the system hosting the SQL instance. This is often a deal-breaker for many DBAs or SQL farms.
And, if the motivation for this is licensing, then that's not valid as ConfigMgr includes SQL use rights without additional cost.
If this is still the direction, see https://blogs.technet.microsoft.com/configurationmgr/2013/04/02/how-to-move-the-configmgr-2012-site-database-to-a-new-sql-server/. Note that it references ConfigMgr 2012 but is still valid (process wise) for CB.

Hi,
Here is the article based on the blog provides by Jason, but added in workarounds/configurations for some real world issues you are likely to run into.

Thank you for the reply Jason
Sadly its not up to me as this is coming down for upper management which confuses me as this environment has been rock solid with the SQL Server local.
Also last question how is the SUSBD handled for the migration? I cant seem to find anything on that
