  • Guys I need to receive notifications sent by SCOM, I was configure this, but I want to receive this notifications in my Yahoo Account. Can I configure Yahoo Server to send and to receive emails in SCOM?

  • If you must use Yahoo directly for SMTP, notification in OpsMgr requires an SMTP server that will except messages from your OpsMgr server. If Yahoo provides you with an SMTP server that will allow this, you can setup a e-mail notification channel that will accomodate this.

  • I don't believe this will be feasible as Yahoo will not support the Windows Integrated option you  have in the setting. No place to put credentials, so this will limit your ability to use Yahoo in the SMTP channel. You'd have to do something custom in a script through the Command Channel. Messy and unreliable comparatively speaking. 

    Using Exchange or other SMTP-enabled appliances if this  is not desired would be your best options.

  • Just add a new recipient and use your Yahoo email address.  Then add this new recipient to the subscription you want to get notifications from.

  • OK, this for receive email, and to send Notification using Yahoo mail, this is possible? When I need to enable email channel I need to type a SMTP (I type Yahoo SMTP), but in authentication how can I typw my Yahoo credentials?

  • OK, But when I chose Email channel and type Yahoo SMTP I need to authenticate this, where can I type my account and my password for yahoo SMTP? because I cant find this.
