Explorer.exe hangs at logoff? RRS feed

  • Question

  • Hi

We have 2 x Windows Server 2008 R2 running in a Remote Desktop Broker envoriment.
We are using Roaming Profiles with Folder redirection of Desktop, Documents and Favotrites

The problem is that it can take up to 2 minutes for the user to logoff, the session ends in a black screen and nothing happens. If I logon as domain administrator and run Task Manager I can see that it's Explorer.exe that hangs.
Also if I run Proscess Monitor, it looks like this:

    12:40:11,9798724 gpscript.exe 2208 RegCloseKey HKLM\SOFTWARE\Microsoft\Windows NT\CurrentVersion\Image File Execution Options SUCCESS
12:41:21,2213419 Explorer.EXE 1104 Process Exit  SUCCESS Exit Status: 1073807364, User Time: 0.6562500 seconds, Kernel Time: 3.5312500 seconds, Private Bytes: 11.698.176, Peak Private Bytes: 16.871.424, Working Set: 32.219.136, Peak Working Set: 35.954.688

Can anyone tell me what the problem can be or is there a way I can troubleshoot this event more?

    Thanks
