Quick Listener question

  • If i have my listener configured to forward to port 443, but my bridging on the rule that is using that listener configured to forward to port 93, what would take precedence

Right now judging by logs it looks like listener is overwritting briddging configuration

  • Hi Amig@. I don't understand very well what you mean with "listener configured to forward to port 443". Web listeners "listen" on ports but they don't forward. If an incoming web request hits that listener (IP and Port) the listener will do some chekcings, will ask for authentication (if so configured) and so on and then will pass the request to the ruleset to check if a publishing rule exists for that request. If there is a publishing rule that match the public name, path and so on then TMG will forward the request to the internal server and port specified in the rule (in your case port 93). There is no override in this process. Each "phase" has its own configuration
