antigen stopped scanning for spam on Monday RRS feed

  • Question

  • I am running Antigen 9.0 for Exchange with SP2 and hotfix rollup 3 on Exchange 2003 on a Windows 2003 server.   The cloudmark engine has not detected any spam since Monday 1/11 at 6:46pm EST.  I noticed the microupdates folder was not right up to date, so I rebuilt the engine according to KB920304, and rebooted the server to restart all services.  The microupdates folder still isn't updating, and it isn't finding ANY spam, even older stuff.  Did Microsoft finally pull the plug on Antigen?  Can we not even use the software with older signatures?

  • I noticed Cloudmark engine stopped getting updates for me as well around the same time, except I am running Forefront Protection for Exchange 2010. I haven't made any changes or attempted to troubleshoot yet -- just been monitoring. If seems something is wrong on their end, but I don't believe they have pulled the plug on it yet.

  • It appears I was wrong and support has ended:

Looks like I will need to implement something new right away.
