TMG report content messed up after change file location RRS feed

  • Question

  • Hi All,

I'm new to ISA and corrently just setup a TMG 2010 server as edge firewall (two network card mode.)

As the special situation here, i need to set the server as a transparent agent so everyone does not need to setup web proxy for internet access.

Issue 1: I ran the TMG server status report, and looks fine. when I copy and paste the report folder(html) to my computer or any other computer, the report content messed up as the picture shows:

issue 2: If I want the AD user name & site domain name shows to replace current IP in report, but no web proxy setup for users, what should I do?

    Thank you.

  • Hi,

for issue 2: If you want to see users in the TMG reports you must request user authentication in Firewall Policy rules and clients MUST be Webproxy or TMG clients!

  • Hi,

    Thank you for the post.

If you directly open the report.html from the folder, does it work?

    Regards,

  • Nick, I am having the very same problem as KNJacksun with regard to the scrambled reports. All of them appear this way, whether I view them directly from TMG, publish them to a folder and open the report.html file from IE 10, Chrome or Firefox.

Any ideas how I can fix this? At one time the reports were working just fine.

  • It's your shiny new browser that doesn't like the old format reports!

In IE10 press F12 then select from top menu Browser Mode: IE7

Yes, ancient browsers will render it just fine.

  • Just add in the report.html: <meta http-equiv="X-UA-Compatible" content="IE=EmulateIE7" />

Then it will work again for this report
