We are seeing a situation with Vista clients only. Socket Forwarding is getting installed only on a Vista client when the user clicks our RDP (TS Tunneling) link. The user then must disable the Socket Forwarding component to get Remote
Desktop to work. The question we are wondering is why is this component getting installed on Vista only (does not install on XP and Win7)? On the server, the Socket Forwarding is set to "disable" for the RDP application.
