Direct Access 2012 Single Nic Win 7 Clients not able to connect.

  • Having issues and can't for the life of me get our Windows 7 Clients to work.

I have the check box in Step 2 "Remote Access Server Setup" checked for Windows 7 Clients to connect, and I have our internal CA Cert as the "Select the root or intermediate certification authority..."

Assuming we have a certificate installed on the Windows 7 Computer, we should be good to go which we do because it's the same client certificate we use for our EAP.

I have verified that our CRL is published on the DA Server and accessible on the internet.

What am I missing and what logs can I post to help?

I even rebuilt the server just to rule something like that out, no joy there either.

  • Just in case it wasn't clear, we are migrating from UAG DA on 2008 to Server 2012 DA.

The same clients would work with the same information on the 2008 side of the house, just an issue when migrating them over to the 2012.
