Can't deploy a SharePoint List Under Visual Studio 2017 (SharePoint 2016)

    Question

  • Hi,

I am trying to deploy a simple List on my SharePoint Site. My List is made of a Content Type which contains a simple column.

I deployed under Visual Studio 2017 using the "Publish" to create my .wsp file. Then I deployed it to my SharePoint site using the command.

When I go to my sharepoint site and try to activate it I have this issue :

    Sorry, something went wrong

Path too long (Exception from HRESULT: 0x80010135)

    GO BACK TO SITE

Then when I go to the LOG folder to see what happened I have theses lines :

    Failed to create list "Ma_Liste" in web "http://frahqapp687:3000", HRESULT=0x5fc37d60. List XML: "<List xmlns:ows="Microsoft SharePoint" Title="Ma_Liste" FolderCreation="FALSE" Direction="$Resources:_FeatureId47d2482b-6f88-498a-a120-18edff615f27,Direction;" Url="Lists/Ma_Liste" BaseType="0" xmlns="http://schemas.microsoft.com/sharepoint/" EnableContentTypes="TRUE"/>" f77a2c9e-7496-705e-a5c4-0df4431505d2

    Failed to instantiate list 'C:\Program Files\Common Files\Microsoft Shared\Web Server Extensions\16\Template\Features\Test_Liste_Feature1\Ma_Liste' f77a2c9e-7496-705e-a5c4-0df4431505d2

I already tried to relocate my VS Project so that the path is shorter...I still catch the same error.

    Any ideas ?
