Cisco VMR

    Question

  • Hi there,

My team deployed Third-Part Video Conferencing with our Cisco group a while back. Now it has been used for some time and people are wondering if we can track the VMR (Virtual Meeting Room) calls from lync to cisco. Is this possible?  I've included a Jeff Schertz blog about how you can setup the third party conferencing. We didn't go as far as populating an AD contact with the VMR. I'm basically wondering if I can query the CDR tables to produce a report of the outbound call from lync to cisco.

Please provide me with any help you can. Thanks.

  • Hi curiousgeorge,

    Welcome to our forum.

As I am concerned, the record from Lync to cisco will be recorded.

    https://technet.microsoft.com/en-us/library/gg398570(v=ocs.14).aspx

If you could not find record in Lync server 2010 CDR, we could contact the vendor of Cisco to check whether there are related record.

Thanks for your understanding and support.

    Best Regard,
    Jim Xu

  • Hi again. I'm familiar with those tables but was not able to extract traces of the vmr. I could start a conference in lync with a colleague and connect to the vmr. Once I ran queries I found myself as an organizer and my colleague as an attendee but no trace of the vmr.

  • Does anyone have a idea what table/tables I would need to look at and what would the query look like to extract this information if it is recorded in the lync databases?
