LYNC 2010 Hybrid Issues with Exchange Online

    Question

  • Hi,

We have lync 2010 and exchange 2010 and doing migration from exchange 2010 to exchange online and LYNC 2010 to Skype for business Online. first we are migrating mailboxes and then for migrated mailboxes we are migrating SIP addresses so that their meeting urls will be update through MMS.

Now we are getting following issues:

    1. delegating not working where mailbox on cloud and sip address on on-premises. And delegator is getting pop up on Skype client frequently that you are added as delegator. Users are not able to schedule meeting on behalf.

    2. for migrated mailbox , on-premises SKYPE/LYNC client getting exchange credential password pop-up where users need to provide email address and password.

    3. VPN users are getting more issues with 2nd points

is there any workaround/checklist to resolve issues ?

    Thanks

  • Hi Jitender Kumar Rohilla,

Would you please tell us did the issue only appear on the specific client in your environment?

Did you mean that you only migrated Exchange to Exchange online, did you migrated Lync 2010 to SFB online?

After migration, did you do integration between SFB and Exchange ?

Please press Ctrl and right click SFB icon in the taskbar, open configuration information. On the open page check if EWS status and MAPI status are OK.

If specific user had this issue, please try to compare user attributes between the affected user and other normal users.

If all users had this issue, please try to check if there are any event IDs in SFB server.

    Regards,
