  • שאלה

  • Hello Guys,

I have a requirement from a client about  2 exchange server 2010 connected to a load balancer and also connected each other applying failover clustering.

The exchange server is load balanced and if one goes down the other will work smoothly.

Can you guys please tell me if i use exchange server 2010 standard for failover clustering is there any limitation on it compared to enterprise edition.

Or do i need to buy  2 enterprise 2010 editions.

  • Hi,
The only limitation using a Exchange 2010 Standard Edition, is how may databases you can have.
With Standard Edtion you can have 5 databases (Public Folder Database included) and with Enterprise Edition you can have as much as 100 databases.

Both Servers need Windows Server 2008* Enterprise Edtion.

BTW, Questions about Exchange 2010 should be posted at http://social.technet.microsoft.com/Forums/en-US/category/exchangeserverlegacy
