Radius Server SHA 256 RRS feed

  • Question

  • I have a problem in my RADIUS server.

Here is the chronology in my client:

    1. We use RADIUS Server using SHA1 Certificate Algorithm to connect to WiFi. It works fine as long as the user have SHA 1 in trusted Root, and user account is in a certain group.
    2. We upgrade the certificate to SHA256.
    3. When we change the settings to SHA 256 in EAP Properties, somehow user can connect to WiFi without using certificate.

Is there something miss in my configuration? Where should I start?

    Thank You

  • Hi,

What's your mean of this? The certificate is not used by the client. It's used by the server to prove its' identity.

The server sends the certificate to client and the client validates the certificate.

    Best Regards,
