  • The task you are trying to do can't be completed because remote desktop services is currently busy.

    We keep getting this error - The temporary fix is restart remote desktop services, is there any permanent fix?

    can you enter winver in command prompt on W2016 server and look the os version and os version number ?

    2 do you use 
    Adobe ColdFusion on w2016 server ?

    Please check the symptom in a clean boot (refer to windows 10 steps) environment if it is possible. Ensure the latest update has been installed to avoid known issue

    2> Yes, we have this problem in 2 servers 1 is without ColdFusion.

    3> Cannot do that its a production server.

    4 if the Adobe ColdFusion is installed server 2016,can you check if there many subkey in below registry location ?
     HKLM\SOFTWARE\MACROMEDIA\COLDFUSION\CURRENTVERSION\CLIENTS
    5 how long haven't you checked update on w2016 ? we can enter winver in command prompt on w2016 and look the version number .

    6 if you install kb4093119 on your problematical w2016 ,will the problem persist ?

    7 please run below cmd on problematical server  and check if we have installed kb4093119 .
    if we not install this 
    kb4093119 ,we can backup the server first and install this KB4093119.
    $QFE = Get-hotfix -computername $server | select-object -property Description,HotFixID,InstalledBy,InstalledOn | out-file c:\windows\temp\$server.txt
    change $server to your hostname
