IE 11 Crashing when trying to print RRS feed

  • Question

  • Whenever one of my clients try to print, IE 11 crashes. I've tried opening IE11 in extoff mode. Reset, Factory Reset, reinstalled. Still can't get it working. I've tried looking through the dmp, but I may be missing something. Here is the dump. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

  • Hi,

    Two third party modules referenced in the crash, WRusr.dll and mbae.dll :

    *** WARNING: Unable to verify timestamp for WRusr.dll
    *** WARNING: Unable to verify timestamp for mbae.dll
    Probably caused by : mshtml.dll ( mshtml!CMarkup::Save+f4

    The WRusr.dll is Webroot web filtering and the mbae.dl is Malwarebytes Anti-Exploit.

    The mbae.dll may have been recently updates as the date of the mbae.dll is Aug 29, 2019.

    Can you temporarily disable Malwarebytes Anti-Exploit and see if the issue resolves.

  • Hey Auggy,

    Thanks for the response! Anti-Exploit was the issue. I have it temporarily disabled and will be monitoring the patches and looking for other solutions. Thanks for seeing that!
