Need to call a parallel shape orchestration RRS feed

  • Question

  • Hello all,

I am receiving three different files from multiple locations and I have a correlation to match the requests from 3 different message types.

    Now I have a challenge.

Before processing the correlation,I need to do call a main ochestration to set some parameters for internal message processing.

Is there a way we can use Parallel shape in call/start orchestration from the main orchestration, please?

I tried to set activate as false in called/sub orchestration(3 Parallel shapes) but the build failed.

has anyone worked on this before?

Thanks very much for your support!

  • Hi Sri, Could you explain better what is the scenario you would like to implement and your envisioned solution design? I would like to help, but have troubles understanding what you would like to achieve. Regards

  • Hello vertebrate

We are using an internal ESB achitecture(like common) project. So I have to invoke the common project to access some of the receive port properties in the orchestration.

So i am trying to achieve this through the main orchestration so that i call use a call/start orchestration to perform the correlation and send out the messages to destination.

My requirement is to get the different types of messages from different locations annd send it out.No request response send port. only sending to destination.

So we are using an internal ESB architecture to get that into our designed solution.

I tried to add that ESB in my 4th parallel shape(having a different correlation set) but the orchestration is still in dehydrated state waiting for a meesage to be received. Can we use a different correlation in parallel shape?

The challenge is to call our common ESB orchestration  followed by parallel receive orchestration.we use this for all our message procesing.

    Thanks for your help.
