Any way to clear ssl state in IE8 through Command prompt? RRS feed

  • Question

  • Long story short, I work in a service center and am unable to run exe's on client machines due to security.

I'm working on a batch file that I can run to resolve issues.

I've part of it which I believe to be working. I need to clear IE8 TIF's, cookies, form data, Passwords, and InPrivate data.

    echo Clear Temporary Internet Files:
    RunDll32.exe InetCpl.cpl,ClearMyTracksByProcess 8

    echo Clear Cookies:
    RunDll32.exe InetCpl.cpl,ClearMyTracksByProcess 2

    echo Clear Form Data:
    RunDll32.exe InetCpl.cpl,ClearMyTracksByProcess 16

    echo Clear Saved Passwords:
    RunDll32.exe InetCpl.cpl,ClearMyTracksByProcess 32

    echo Clear Temp Files:
    cd: c:\Temp
    wait 35
    del *.* /s/q/f

Now I just need to find a way to clear ssl state and majority of my issues will be solved in one fell swoop. I've looked into invalidiating the ssh and reinitiating it to no luck as it's just not the same.
