IE 10 Confirmation Dialog RRS feed

  • Question

  • Every time I try to paste anything into a forums post, IE 10 has started popping up a confirmation dialog "Do you want to allow this web page access to your clipboard?" Allow/Don't allow. every time I try to paste a link or anything else into my reply.

IIRC this dialog did not appear when I first installed Win 8, but seems to have started recently as a result of something installed by Windows Update.

Is there any way to turn this dialog off? Seeing this over and over as I create replies in MSDN forums is annoying, to say the least.

  • Hi,

Please try adjusting the option “Allow Programmatic clipboard access” and see if it works:

Stronger Default Security Settings for Script Access to the Clipboard in Internet Explorer 7

    Thanks.
