Internal Error 0x609 using Remote Desktop RRS feed

  • Hi for all

    I´m facing a problem to access the server through Remote Desktop. 

    When i tried to connect I received the message: Internal Error 0x609.

    Does anybody has an idea?

  • Hello M,

     

    Please help to clarify more details for us to understand your issue better:

     

    • What is your RDS deployment?
    • How many Roles involved? (RD connection broker, RD Session Host, RD Gateway and so on)
    • How you conduct the remote connection? Via mstsc or remote app?
    • What is the operating system and version of your local PC and remote PC(Server)?

     

    Meanwhile, could you please check if anything abnormal has been recorded in event logs?

     

    Event log checking:

    TerminalServices-RemoteConnectionManager and TerminalServices-LocalSessionManager logs to view information about connections.

     

    Step 1: Press Windows+R to open the Run dialog, enter eventvwr (or eventvwr.msc) and hit OK.

     

    Step 2: Navigate to Event Viewer\ Applications and Services Logs\ Microsoft\ Windows\ TerminalServices-*

     

    Last but not least, do you have Cisco involved in your RDS deployment? If yes, you may take a look at below two posts:
