  • Hi,

In the Adobe requirements, It's mentionned that only the latest versions of Internet Explorer is supported with Adobe Flash (see this: https://www.adobe.com/products/flashplayer/tech-specs.html )

The latest version of IE is 11, see this if you want download it: https://support.microsoft.com/fr-ma/help/17621/internet-explorer-downloads

  • Search for flash-on-windows-timeline on blogsDOTwindowsDOTcom, article dated 7/25/2017.  Looks like all browsers will phase it out by end of 2020.

  • So Will the older IE version and Edge still support flash IF I DONT update them say in a controlled environment Like Citrix?

"By the end of 2020, we will remove the ability to run Adobe Flash in Microsoft Edge and Internet Explorer across all supported versions of Microsoft Windows. Users will no longer have any ability to enable or run Flash."

  • Yes, Adobe Flash will be out of support from Microsoft in the end of 2020, I don't have any idea how Microsoft will remove the ability to run Adobe Flash in Edge & IE, but It's can be a software updates.
