  • I'm talking about the the On Premise version of Active Directory Right Management Services, not the Cloud version. My infrastructure is on premise, but it seems that the Azure Information Protection client (the only one available today for the onpremise version) does not protect PDF Files if using the Protect-RMS commandlet.

    Moreover, it seems that the Adobe Acroabad Reader DC plugin for RMS looks always for an Azure RMS account, but in our case everything is on prem, so no azure account is available.
