Unstable QnA for SFB 2015 RRS feed

  • Question

  • Hi all,

We have a use case to make use of QnA for a large meeting with about 200 pax. During testing with a small group of 10, the QnA function is rather unstable meaning it either works perfectly for everyone in the meeting but at other times it simply shows up on the skype window for some or everyone that it is unable to connect to some services and the retry button appears.

Does anyone have an idea if there is any particular port or service for QnA function in skype so that we can narrow it down on our network troubleshooting or it also just goes through port 8057?

  • Hi!

Do you mean your Q&A feature is not stable in Skype for Business meeting?

Does this issue occur in meetings between internal users or between internal and external users?

To ensure the best experience in Skype for Business meeting, we recommend you check the following ports used by Skype for Business chat and conferencing, you can refer details from the following link:

    https://kb.intermedia.net/Article/1679

Besides, please check if there are any error messages in the event viewer.
