  • Hi,

Thanks for posting in our forum!

    1. Is the hardware listed over here as being supported?

    https://www.windowsservercatalog.com/

    2. Is there any other error ID in Event Viewer?

    3. For Event id 18190, you can see here:

    https://docs.microsoft.com/en-us/previous-versions/windows/it-pro/windows-server-2008-R2-and-2008/dd581966(v=ws.10)

In addition, you can do the following test:

Recreate a new VM to see if has the same issue.

    Regards,

    Daniel

  • Please provide more information on what you mean by "has issues shutting down and starting up vm guests".  How are you shutting down/starting up?

  • "I have same issue, "

Provide more information about the issue.  Define what you mean by "issues shutting down".  What error messages?  What shows in the event logs?

  • Established a WS2019 S2D architecture, cluster of eight Nodes, using Dell Ready Node Server
This is an untimed problem. Usually two or three weeks, all VMs on one Node will be shut down abnormally.
In the Cluster log, the event id is 1230 and the VMMS event id is 18190.
