SharePoint 2013 Web Front End Server uses https instead of http.
Is there any difference in configuring Microsoft Office Web Apps Server 2013 if the SharePoint Server uses SSL ?

Yes, there are differences when configuring Microsoft Office Web Apps Servers 2013 with SharePoint 2013 server if the farm uses the https.
There are steps to configure Microsoft Office Web Apps Servers 2013 with SharePoint 2013 farm using https:
1. Create the binding between SharePoint 2013 and Office Web Apps Server.
2. View the WOPI zones for the SharePoint bindings.
3. Change the WOPI zone to internal-https.
4. View the WOPI zone of SharePoint 2013.
