Skype for Business 2015 - disable call forward button on client UI RRS feed

  • Question

  • Hi All,

I have a customer that wants to forward the unanswered calls (after 40 seconds) to reception number ( All users in the customer environment are Enterprise Voice enabled).

We can acheive this through SEFAUTIL, to set the call forward on no answer option to the reception. I have noted during testing that due to the fact that call forwarding is enabled on the voice policy that it is possible for the users to change this setting directly from their Skype for Business client. The customer would like to prevent this, however disabling the function under the voice policy prevents the call being sent to reception at all.

Does anybody know if it is possible to "grey" out the function on the client via registry entry and\or group policy, without impacting the forward option set under SEFAUTIL?

    Regards,

    AJ

  • Hi Alias Jacky,

Yes. The interface is determined by the settings of whether the admin turn on the call forward feature.

  • Hi Sharon,

    I have posted the feedback.

So you meant to say that it is not possible to do this setting on Skype for Business Client now?

    Regards,

    AJ
