We have CCTV Live Streaming running in my environment, the live video are running in .avi, .cvi, .ahd format which capacity is huge, i got to know through a friend we can install Windows Video Streaming and can direct all the DVR to Server and from there
it can convert the .avi live streaming format to eg: .mp4 or anything as that will reduce the video sizing with same quality, which will have great impact on the network and bandwidth.
I am completely surprised to know this great option in Windows, i am the biggest fan of Windows Platform,i wish to give a try setting up the Windows Streaming Server, can anyone please help me with the some doubts,
1.As of now i have installed Camera Application eg(HiFocus) and there configured my DVR IP which telecast all the cameras connected to that DVR, in this case instead of DVR IPs should i have to give my Streaming Server IP??
2.How the live streaming will be convert to other format and display with no interruption.
