  • Using Internet Explorer 9 with Windows Vista.  When trying to log in to my bank, as soon as I click on the submit button, IE9 shows "Locked Computer" in the lower left hand title bar and the computer will go no further.  It locks Internet Explorer 9 and I need to exit the browser and restart IE9.  It only does this with my banking connection.  Firefox does not hang and lets me in to my bank account.

  • Hi,

    Please attempt to add the bank website you are accessing to Trusted sites zone in Internet Options>Security tab.

    If you still log in to the bank account, you can test to run IE 9 in No Add-on mode.

    Also, if all above don't work, I suggest you to reset Internet Explorer settings, which will solve most of IE issue.
