Group policy for IE 10 on a Windows 7 computer in a 2008R2 domain. RRS feed

  • Question

  • I allowed myself to be tempted to install IE 10 preview release on many Windows 7 domain joined computers. The computers get Group Policy Settings for proxy address and home page. This does not work! The computers notifies the settings are controlled by the administrator but the settings will not appear on the computer, and the user can not access the internet.
    1. Is there a way to update the 2008 R2 server to support IE 10?
    2. Is there an easy way to roll back to IE 9 via login scripts, etc.?
