I'm not able to Sign-up for an Azure free account because of Authenticator app RRS feed

  • I have two-factor authentication enabled on my Microsoft Personal account and I want to create an Azure account but I'm not able to because every time I try to sign-in it asks me for a security code from my authenticator app, the Microsoft authenticator app shows 8-digit code and azure allows me to enter only six digit code.

    I even turned off the two-factor authentication and tried to sign in but still it asks me for code or request approval from authenticator app which literally never comes. I even tried using another authenticator app but it still doesn't work .

    I'm not able to signup for azure as well as I'm not able to signup for teams. practically everything except for Outlook and Microsoft account settings.

    I'm completely frustrated and I'm in No position to delete my account.

    I have exactly the same problem and I haven't been able to find a solution. I also don't have access to Microsoft support, since it is currently only possible via web form and requires an authentication that is precisely what is failing.
