IE9 Printing - "Your file waiting to be printed was deleted." RRS feed

  • Question

  • I cannot seem to print anything with IE9 under W7-64 with our Canon iR C3380 printer.  The printer does not work in PS mode, just PCL and it has been perfectly fine for our use up to the IE9 rollout where we get the same error over and over and over, regardless of what we try to print in IE9.  Users in the office that haven't rolled up to IE9 are printing fine still in IE8.

    I attempted http://support.microsoft.com/kb/308260 and it didn't help.

  • I have the same problem too. Canon ir3025 if I try a different printer e.g. pdf creator it prints and I can print the pdf on the canon with no problem.

I've reset ie9, reloaded the canon printer driver all to no avail.

    Any ideas???

  • Please disable Protected Mode in IE9 and see the result. If the issue persists, we can confirm that there are compatibility issues. You may wait for Canon to release new drivers to resolve this issue.
