  • Hi,

    the workflow works well with 'Design' permission or 'Full Control'. But the Problem persists for all users nevertheless using an old account or create a new one.

    Taking a new initiation form we get the workflow to work. So what's the difference? The old one had within its PlaceHolderMain section an WebPartPages:WebPartZone tag. Probably it was copied from another aspx and this led to the error message.

  • Hi,

    According to your description, there is a Visual Studio workflow with initiation form in your site, an user comes across with an error when redirect to the initiation form.

    To narrow down the issue, I suggest you try as below:

    1. Use another account with “Full Control” permission to do the test in case it is an issue of the workflow;

    2. If the workflow works well with the “Full Control” account, then it is possibly an issue of the account of that user, you can create another account with the same permissions for another test.

    Feel free to reply with the test result if there any progress.

    Thanks
