can not print from internet explorer. RRS feed

  • Dear Expert,

    we couldl not print out from internet explorer. Before it works fine. outlook/pdf/work,etc all print fine.

    we also try Chrome. it works fine. I turn off windows feature for internet explorer 11.00(OS Windows 7 PRO) and re-turn on again.

    problem as same.

    can you give any advice?

  • Well, I can give you three methods suggestions for resolving this problem.

    1. Fix the issues with your printer and update your drivers to the latest version.

    2. Try to print a webpage running Internet Explorer as an Administrator.

    3. Try printing after disabling protected mode.

    I have read and do clean up printer drive and refresh IE.

    Chrome print out fine. another thing is a few days, IE printing fine.

    when open printer page menu. display "printer not setup". but in chrome printer display ready.

  • Hi,

    check that you have a default printer selected in the Printers control panel.

    Start>Control Panel>Devices and Printers

    Use the File>Print Preview menu to confirm that the website/page does not disable content by media type.

    Click the Printer icon on the Print Preview dialog to confirm that a default printer has been selected and that it is enabled for the current user profile.

    Check that IE is using your company proxy and that the device shares are as expected.

    Again Inform as below:

    01. A few days ago, print out from IE is fine. no any change with print and IE configuration.

    02. webpage printed from Chrome is fine.

    we need

    1. the web address of the problem website where this is occurring (If its an internal site, say so).

    2. a screen shot of your print preview window.

    If this is occurring on all web sites then its your IE printer settings... click the Printer icon in the print-preview window to adjust your printer settings. Make sure that you have set the default printer for your machine.
