Tutte le risposte

  • Hi,

May I ask the \\113.255.214.30\Share0 is the path that the share folder in another PC?

If you try to connect with UNC path \\computername\share, same results?

From the server 2008 try to ping the location 113.255.214.30, does it return correctly?

First of all please try to disable IPv6 and firewall temporarily then restart your computer to do a check.

Please also ensure the NetBIOS setting is at Default. NetBIOS allows networked computers to share resources. If this isn’t working or isn’t enabled, it could be causing the error.

For access error 0x80004005 with sharing path that could be various cause. I suggest you may follow the thread discussed before to do a check.

  • Hi,

For firewall, you could test to  disable temporarily. And NetBIOS, you could check in Ethernet Properties

    1. In the same window as above, highlight IPv4 and click the Properties button underneath.
    2. Click Advanced and then select the WINS tab.
    3. Ensure the NetBIOS setting is at Default.

    Best Regards,

    Mary

  • Hi,

Based on my knowledge, if you need to access the network shared path, the network connection need to be set fine.

According to the ping results, network connection is lost.  I suggest you need to check the network problem first.

Please also consult in Our Network forum for network connection check.

In addition, here is the same error discussed in Our Network forum.

  • Hi,

    Thanks for your feedback.

When you access the network location. The network connection need to be fine. In your current issue, you get the error message, "windows cannot access  \\113.255.214.30\Share0 " when access to the path.

Ping results get back " Reply from 113.255.218.217: Destination host unreachable."

It seems the network connection is not fine. So we need to make sure the network connection works fine first.

And as suggested above, you may need to consult in Our Network forum to make sure the network connection settings is correct.

  • Hi,

Find that, the share address in your scenario is changed now. It's windows cannot access  113.255.214.114 not the windows cannot access  113.255.214.30.

This time, the error code become " 0x80070043, the network name cannot be found" I'm afraid according to this, it may still network resolution problem.

May I ask if you try the UAC path \\servername\share, what's the results?

If it still shows no clue, I suggest you may need to use network monitor to capture the network package to analyze the issue.

    Thanks for your support.

    Best Regards,

    Mary

  • Hi,

In your scenario, the ip address seems to be changed. And at first, in your scenario, ping is not accessible.

In general, if the ip address is correct, network is fine. We should not get "network name cannot be found" such error.

So I'm also out of mind to do more checking. You could use network monitor to capture the network package to analyze the process.
And I suggest you could also open a ticket from Microsoft for further troubleshooting.

To obtain the phone numbers for specific technology request, please refer to the website listed below:
