Windows Server 2003 R2 Standard Edition - Error in Event Viewer Event ID 1111 RRS feed

  • I am new to this problem and how to fix it, today my Win 2003 Server crashed for brief event viewer stated:

    Type: error

    User: N/A


    Source: TermServDevices

    Cat: None

    Event ID: 1111


    Driver Microsoft Office Live Meeting Document Writer Driver required for printer Microsoft Office Live Meeting Document Writer is unknown. Contact the administrator to install the driver before you log in again.

  • these events occur when you (or someone else) connects via RDP (terminal services) and tries to map a printer into the rdp session which the server has no driver for.

    You can just disable printer mapping while connecting to the server, use the universial driver or install the requiered device driver on the server.

    Does the crash occur only once or occur every time Event 1111 appears?

    What was doing when the problem occurs beside this event? Which programs were running?
