Problema server DPM RRS feed

    Ciao a tutti,

    ho 4 server  Windows Server 2012 R2 dove ho clusterizzato Hyper-V.

    Tutti i nodi cosi come tutte le macchine virtuali, le funzionalità del cluster vanno a meraviglia.

    Da poco ho messo su un server virtuale con System Center 2012 R2 data Protection Manager.

    Il server funziona tranquillamente, ma ho notato che non riesce a vedere il server sul quale gira.

    Praticamente se provo a pingare il SERVER-3 non risponde nonostante il SERVER-3 sia raggiungibile da dovunque e cosi anche per il Server-DPM.

    Sul server DPM ho errore 10028 DistributedCOM perchè non riesce a comunicare con Server-3.

    Tutte le VM presenti sul SERVER-3 siano esse linux che windows vedono tutte il SERVER-3 tranne che il DPM!!!

    Qualcuno ha qualche suggerimento ho ha avuto la fortuna di avere questa problematica?

    insisto problema di configurazione/funzionamento vnet su quella VM. Usi NIC teaming? Quale differenza hai sui vswitch rispetto alle altre macchine che funzionano? Lascia stare DPM e concentrati sul troubleshooting a livello networking.

    Ciao, ma hai provato il DPM su un server diverso da quello su cui gira? per capire se il problema è il DPM oppure la versione di DPM. Avevo letto che c'erano degli issue sugli agenti della versione 2012 R2 installati sulle VM e non venivano visti.

    Fai una prova, sposta la VM, puoi usare anche un banale client 8.1 o 10 che abbia l'hyper-v attivo e vedi se da quello si comporta uguale.

    Problema di vnet, come sono definiti i virtual switch, usi il teaming? Indaga sull aparte di networking e lascia stare DPM non c'entra nulla. SPosta DPM su altri nodi e verifica come si comporta.

    DPM è su una VM, spostandola su un altro nodo del cluster non vede il nodo del clienter dove viene ospitata!
