deny changes in group policy to domain admins and administrator account RRS feed

  • Question

  • Hi There,

I work for a company that has over 50 computers. I am trying to use GPOs that will prevent the user from going to the run menu or command pompt etc. The problem I am having is every time I enable one of these policies, the domain administrator account is also affected. I have gone into the GPO mmc and looked at the security settings for the domain admins security group. The apply group policy check box is NOT checked. Is there any way I can prevent the domain admin account from registering the gpo I am applying for the domain users?

Thanks for your help in advance.
