Outlook 2016 - Inbox not syncing RRS feed

  • Running Outlook 2016 for Mac version 15.14.2 (150923) through Exchange and all functioning correctly, apart from the syncing of my inbox, it's empty. All my sub folders and sent items are synching. 

    Help please...

    Will the emails show in Inbox if we manually press the Send/Receive button?

    Can you see emails in Inbox if we view it from OWA? If so, please also try deleting the first email message in Inbox and then check if this issue persists.

    In addition, we may also try to recreate a new profile to see if it will fix the issue.

    If still no luck, please try enabling logging in Outlook for Mac and check if we can find any useful information from the logging files. See: https://support.microsoft.com/en-us/kb/2872257

  • We have same problem inbox is not syncing in Outlook 2016.  We started with pop3, changed to imap, created new profiles but still have same problem.  The send/rec never completes it say running 1 0f 4 tasks and stayes up for several hours.  Are their any fixes or do we have to back to a earlier version of Outlook.
