cant see other computers on my Domain

    質問

  • Hi there,

Recently changed the DNS setting on my computer to 8.8.8.8 to get around DNS on my local network as I had an issue where I had named my domain the same as my website and I was not able then to access my website from inside the network. Well now I have the opposite and cant see computer in my local domain. I have changed the DNS back to my server address that handles this. I have reset my network adapters and re-logged in to the domain, but I still cant see any other computer. network discovery is on. Could you suggest anything?

  • Disable Windows Firewall and check the issue.

  • Hi,

If you set the PC’s ip address manually, please check if the subnet mask is same as other PC.

If no, please try to run following command in Command Prompt (as administrator).

    1. Open Command Prompt (as administrator).

    2. At the command prompt, run the following commands

               Typenetsh winsock reset       (press Enter)

Type netsh int ip reset    (press Enter)

              Type ipconfig /release    (press Enter)

               Type ipconfig /renew      (press Enter)

               Type ipconfig /flushdns  (press Enter)

Please try to run the Network troubleshooter. Here are steps.

    1. In the search box on the taskbar, type Network troubleshooter, and then select Identify and repair network problems from the list of results.

2.Follow the steps in the troubleshooter and see if that fixes the problem.

Please temporarily turn off firewall and antivirus software to see if it can work.
