Outlook 2003 がフリーズする事象に関して、海外の投稿サイトの質問に寄せられた回答をご紹介します。

・ドライバ（他ではビデオ ドライバをチェックしてみるという情報がありました）
・アドイン

Check that you have Office 2003 SP3 installed:

Check that the user does not have any mapped drives that are not available.
If the user does, disconnect them.
Can also try running Outlook is safe mode and see if it stops:
Close Outlook and re-open by
Start>Run>Outlook.exe /safe
If it doesnt do it here its likely there is an Add-in causing this problem
If it still does it here, try closing Outlook and Re-Open using
Start>Run>Outlook.exe /cleanprofile
