Microsoft Assessment and Planning Solution Accelerator については私も調べてみたのですが、残念ながらご質問にお応えできるような情報は見つからず・・・でした。お力になれずごめんなさい。

こちらに「These features include Windows Vista assessment, Microsoft Office 2007 assessment, and non-Windows device inventory, using the Simple Network Management Protocol (SNMP).」とあったので、Linuxだと、SNMPでの情報収集になるのかなと思ったのですが、一応「具体的にどのくらいの情報？」というのは気になりまして、あちこち探した結果、結局ヘルプ見てみました。
で、SNMPデバイスのレポートについての記載はこんな感じでした↓
SNMP Devices Report
The SNMP Devices Report is generated using the Assessment Wizard. When this scenario is selected, the wizard generates a detailed report (Microsoft Excel workbook) that provides details about all of the Simple Network Management Protocol (SNMP) enabled devices found and inventoried using community strings provided when running the wizard.
The detailed SNMP Devices Report helps you find and identify SNMP devices and their configurations.
具体的に、どんなデータがとれるかは、やはり書いてないですね・・・参考になる情報でなくてごめんなさい・・・・
USのTechNetフォーラムには、「Microsoft Assessment and Planning」のカテゴリがありましたので、（英語になってしまいますが）そちらに投稿していただく方法もあるかなとは思います（同様の質問がないか探してみたのですが、なかったので・・・）。
