Can`t Uninstall SCCM 1906 Primary site through wizard RRS feed

  • 質問

  • Hi ,

I have a SCCM server which was 2012 and updated to version 1906. Now I want to uninstall the primary site completely. As we are going to have completely fresh installation.

unfortunately when I try to remove it from Add/Remove Apps in Control Panel it say :

    SCCM removal error

If I want to try the main installation wizard from SCCM version 1902 iso file I get this error :

    wizard error

and if I try continue :

so as you can see Next button is grayed out.

I couldn`t find any proper way for Un-installation , if there is any tool for that please let me know. My main concern is removing SCCM agent properly from servers and workstations and the most important one from Active Directory. So I don`t want to try manual removal of registry or file ,folders...

  • I got my answer it is in this link :

    https://docs.microsoft.com/en-us/configmgr/core/servers/deploy/install/uninstall-sites-and-hierarchies

    1. Start Configuration Manager Setup on the primary site server by using one of the following methods:

      • On Start, select Configuration Manager Setup.
      • Open Setup.exe from <ConfigMgrInstallationMedia>\SMSSETUP\BIN\X64.
      • Open Setup.exe from <ConfigMgrInstallationPath>\BIN\X64.
    2. On the Before You Begin page, select Next.

    3. On the Getting Started page, select Uninstall a Configuration Manager site, and then select Next.

    4. On the Uninstall the Configuration Manager Site, specify whether to remove the site database from the primary site server, and whether to remove the Configuration Manager console. By default, Setup removes both items.
